Rotary Club of Mississauga is a proud supporter of MSO, Mississauga Symphony Orchestras Fireside Chat Series: Music and Meaning, bringing wonderful programming free to Mississauga residents. President Janette Sasso was with Mississauga West Rotary at the March 24th performance which was dedicated to our support.
On March 24, 2025, the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra launched its first ever Maestro’s Fireside Chat, an intimate evening of music and conversation set against a warm, candlelit atmosphere. The event was a sold-out success, bringing together a wonderfully diverse audience, including longtime patrons, new attendees, and members of the Rotary Club of Mississauga and the Rotary Club of Mississauga West. Everyone was eager to explore the world of classical music in a cozy, personal and engaging setting.

For over an hour, Maestro Denis Mastromonaco captivated his audience, leading an engaging discussion on Ludwig van Beethoven, sharing insights into his life, his creative genius, and the impact of his work on music history. The audience was deeply engaged, asking insightful questions and expressing appreciation for the depth of knowledge shared. The excitement continued long after the talk, as many guests lined up to speak with Maestro, eager to continue the conversation.

With the glow of candlelight creating a cozy, intimate ambiance, the evening felt truly special. A perfect setting for this new event format! We are incredibly grateful to everyone who attended, whether a dedicated supporter of the MSO, a newcomer, or part of the Rotary community. Your presence and enthusiasm made the night a resounding success.

A huge thank you to the Mississauga Foundation, the Rotary Club of Mississauga, and the Rotary Club of Mississauga West for their generous support, without which this incredible learning series would not be possible. Your commitment to enriching our community through music and education is truly invaluable. We look forward to welcoming you to our next Fireside Chat on April 14, 2025 and sharing more unforgettable evenings of music, discussion, and connection.
