Volume 1 | Issue 2

Welcome to another issue of our weekly bulletin! Find out who our upcoming speakers are, what we covered during the last weekly meeting, and learn more about our President's toast. This Week’s President’s Toast: I would like to recognize a special Lady that inspires me with her dazzling smile every week.   This Rotarian joined the club 7 years ago, has served on many committees, and has participated on the board numerous times.  She can always be found participating at one of our events and goes the extra mile by bringing friends. She is generous with her time and demonstrates a caring heart as I see that she share fellowship with people who are challenged every day of their live.  This year she has taken on the role Membership director. A difficult job. It is her personal Challenge to bring in 10 new members during her term. I know I can count on everyone to support her in this role. Please raise your glass and toast Antoinette Freedman she is a Person of Action. An example of the dedication of Rotarians around the world.
Mark your calendars

Today's week's  speaker
This weeks' Speaker was Adam Edris, Rotaract. He spoke to our club about his journey with Rotaract. How he started at the invitation of a friend and grew personally, and developed into a leader through the wonderful mentoring of this club. He remembered how Dave Pallet and Ron Starr were instrumental in his growth and how he learned how to manage volunteers versus leading a team of paid employees differed. He remembered how Rotarians made the difference in his and the other Rotaract lives.  Adam Edris invited us all to participate in lives of a Rotaract mentioning that this was a period of many changes. Finish School, finding work, getting married and having babies. Rotaract provide a solid foundation in his live.
