Held at Lakeside Park in Mississauga, the Walk to Remember brought together individuals, families, teams and community supporters to honour loved ones who have died, while raising funds to provide free grief support to people in our community.
Rotarians were proud to take part in the 5K walk alongside members of the community and participate in the meaningful remembrance activities throughout the event. It was a moving opportunity to come together, reflect, remember those we have lost, and show our support for individuals and families navigating grief.
The Rotary Club of Mississauga is grateful to support an organization that provides compassionate, community-driven grief peer support at no cost to the community. The Centre for Grief and Healing plays an important role in creating a caring and supportive community for those experiencing loss.
A special thank you to Executive Director Julia Duz, the dedicated organizers and volunteers who worked together to create such a beautiful and meaningful event.
The Rotary Club of Mississauga is proud to stand alongside organizations that strengthen our community and ensure that no one has to navigate grief alone.
