The new year has started with a renewed spirit of eradicating Polio from the remaining two countries and saving children around the world from the crippling effects of the disease.
About 40 Rotarians, across District 7080, and eight from the Rotary Club of Mississauga attended a Polio eradication update brunch on January 27th at “Auntie’s Kitchen” located at 6039 Erin Mills Pkwy, Mississauga, Ontario, L5N 0G5.
The restaurant is quite popular amongst fellow Canadians of Pakistani origins. The owner walked us through the dishes to familiarize us before serving. It was an enjoyable meal for the Rotarians who all donated to Rotary International’s mission to “END POLIO NOW”. Thank you to the District Polio Chair Badar Shamim from Brampton Rotary for organizing and thank you to Aunties Kitchen for hosting.
