Peel District School Board collects outerwear donations for students who can't afford to buy them.Location: The donation room is at the Adult Education Centre South at 1490 Ogden Ave Mississauga (not the Alternative School). It is an ESL, LINC, credit, Literacy and Basic Skills classes.

Who receives the donation: Many students are newcomers or living in poverty, and 40% of the students are also parents. The donations are also open to other school social work colleagues throughout Peel who come to pick up for their students and families.

What to donate: They collect winter coats, snow pants, boots, hats, mitts, scarves and running shoes. Children, Youth and Adult sizes all welcome.

Time to drop donation: The school is open Monday to Thursday, 8 AM - 3:30 PM and Friday, 8 AM - 2:30 PM. (It's open later, but night custodians may not answer the doorbell after hours).
