Rotary Club of Mississauga provided a grant for CGH to renovate their facility, renaming their therapy room “the Rotary room” affixing our logo to the window entering the room and commissioned past participants of their program to design and paint a mural welcoming other families into this space.

The Centre for Grief and Healing (CGH) (also known as Bereaved Families of Ontario - Halton/Peel) is based in Mississauga, a registered charitable organization offering compassion and care for individuals dealing with the death of a loved one.

The grant from Rotary provided painting supplies and much needed furniture. Rotarians Lorraine Crow and Moya MacKinnon assisted in the prep and painting of the mural wall along with CGH staffers Julia Duz, Executive Director and Victoria Berry, Social Services Manager. Big thanks to Kelly Price, Fundraising Manager for working closely with Rotary in organizing this project.
