This Week's Program: Celebration of UN Peace Day

Join us as we celebrate UN Peace Day with a guest presentation by Dr. Shakeel Ahmed, a Rotary Peace Fellow and researcher specializing in peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and sustainable development.

Dr. Ahmed holds a Master’s degree in International Development Policy from Duke University and earned his doctorate, focusing on empowering civil society to minimize conflict. Certified as a Global Peace Index Ambassador by the Institute for Economics and Peace, his current research highlights how women's participation in socio-economic development programs fosters positive peace and poverty alleviation.
